Sight Flow Indicator

A sight flow indicator, also known as a sight glass, is a device used to inspect the flow of a fluid in a pipeline visually. It consists of a transparent glass or plastic window mounted in a metal or plastic housing, with flanges or fittings for connection to the pipeline.

When fluid flows through the pipeline, it also flows through the sight flow indicator, allowing operators to see the movement and characteristics of the fluid, such as color, consistency, and presence of impurities. This is particularly useful in industrial applications where it is important to monitor the quality and flow of the fluid, such as in the food and beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
