DESIGN APPLICATION

Globe valves are unidirectional and normally used for throttling service. Bonnet joint is male/female in class 150 and 300 lbs, ring type joint in class 600 and higher.

The disc is normally a plug type and is guided to eliminate misalignment, galling and stem bending. A parabolic disc, for liner regulation of the flow, is available or request for all size.

DESIGN FEATURES
1) Back seating arrangement permits re-placement of packing with valve under fully open condition.
2) Two piece design of gland provides centralizing effect on gland sleeve thereby
producing uniform clamping pressure on the gland packing.
