DESCRIPTION:

Cast Stainless Steel type 316 or 304 Gate Valve-Bolted bonnet, outside screw and yoke Size range : 15 to 300 mm Flanged to ASA, DIN or BS for class 150 and 300.

DESIGN APPLICATION
Gate valves are the most commonly used shout-off valve. They are used where minimum pressure drop and bi-directional on-off service is required. These valve are not designed for throttling service, use in partially open position could damage the sealing surfaces. Bonnet joint is flat face in class 150 lbs. male/femal in class 300lbs. ring type joint in class 600 and higher.
The disc of the gate valve is normally a solid wedge in accordance with API 600, either “plain” or “flexible” and have machined guides which prevent dragging across the seat rings.
